One of the founding members of the Uniques in 1962. The Uniques initially consisted of Elden Landoldt Guitar and Vocals, Denny Naughton Bass and Vocals, Rick Box Drums and myself, Guitar and backup vocals. George Arnold joined the band on Keyboard and vocals in early 63'. Rick Wind became the drummer the fall of 63'. We recorded "Baby Don't Cry" and "Little Angle" on BANGAR records the spring of 64'. Marlys Kinney sang with the band the summer of 64'. Harold Powel replaced Denny Naughton on Bass in September of 64'. The band cut back to a quartet when Eldon went to the Air Force in spring of 65' and the Original version of the band broke up late Summer of 65 due to college for several members. I revived the band with Tom Arnold (Guitar and Vocals), Dave Arnold (Keyboard and Vocals), Bruce Reese (bass), Mike Godell (Drums) and Maury Haggin (vocals) in late 65' and that group played until the fall of 66'. Played in "The Good Things" from the fall of 66' thru fall of 67'. Other members of that group were, Jack Yates Drums & Vocals, Larry Lind Bass, Al Sunderland keyboard and Vocals, Wayne Fevold Guitar and Trumpet and myself keyboard, guitar & vocals. Have been in Data Processing since the spring of 1968, and have been with Allied Insurance Co. since January of 1978 and I am currently Director of Mainframe Computer Systems. I met my wife and best friend, Sandy at Allied and we married in September of 1995. I have continued to play music for my family, friends and myself. |
